Don Macanlalay is a unit stills photographer, writer and social marketing creative whose work has helped launch the social media channels for some of the biggest film and tv streaming services, such as Amazon Prime Video and Tubi Streaming. He’s directed hundreds of social media creative projects, producing content for several films and TV series, such as A24’s The Witch, Manchester by the Sea, A Beautiful Boy, Hanna, Mr. Robot, The Grand Tour, Bosch, Jack Ryan and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

On social media, his work at Tubi has generated over 15 billion views on TikTok alone. After his work at Fox Studios and Tubi, he joined with the popular Instagram film brand The Film Zone, has helped transition them into a full-service social media agency, and works on Film/TV Studio and Festival accounts as the Senior Director of Social Media.

Clearly a film lover, Don also works as a unit stills photographer on local indie film productions. His screenplay, I Know the End, has been an official screenplay selection at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, a Screenplay Semifinalist at the Raindance Film Festival, and a Coverfly Red List: Top 20 Drama Screenplay.
